A limping boxer
I’ve always been passionate about nutrition and wellbeing, first for myself, then for the ones I care for. Growing up in a family dedicated to animal nutrition, I was surrounded by conversations about ingredients, quality, and how the right nutrition can make a real difference.
Then came Kiron, my boxer. When she started limping, the only option offered was cortisone shots: a quick fix, but not the kind of long-term care I wanted for her. It masked the pain without addressing the root problem. That was the moment I realised the pet market was missing an honest, preventative approach to daily health.
The birth of Broono
Looking deeper, I saw plenty of big brands, but very few products that felt truly innovative, transparent, and built with the same standards we expect for ourselves. So I combined my passion for wellbeing with my family’s expertise, and together with my mum, our scientific advisor, we created Broono.
At the start, I did everything myself: building the website, designing the labels, and creating the first products. Every challenge became part of the journey. Then Anna joined me, bringing her drive and energy to help shape the next generation of dog wellbeing.
